Break Time
Break Time is a Chrome extension that marks your streaming tab during ad breaks and lets you know when your show is back.
What it collects
Nothing. Break Time does not collect, send, sell, or share any personal data or browsing history. It has no servers and no analytics.
What it does on your device
- On Tubi, YouTube, and Prime Video pages, it reads the video player on the page to tell when an ad is playing. This happens only in your browser.
- It saves your settings (banner, beep, mute, pause, notifications) with Chrome's extension storage. If you use Chrome sync, Chrome syncs those settings to your other browsers.
- If you turn on the banner, Chrome asks for access to all sites so the “your show is back” banner can appear on the page you're viewing. The banner only shows a message; it doesn't read those pages.
- It may mute and unmute the streaming tab and pause the video when ads end, if you turn those options on.
Removing it
Uninstalling Break Time deletes its settings.
